A Little More Sweat Without Doing the Most

When I couldn’t find sauna belts or vests in my size, I felt so left out & judged by the fitness industry. I was close to 300 pounds at 5'2 and wanted nothing more than to sweat. My Dad would say that was they key to weight loss when I was young. He'd layer his clothing and lift weights in our garage.

Between PCOS, Hashimoto’s, inflammation, and life just lifing, my body didn’t always sweat or respond easily. Sauna gear became a supportive tool for me. It helped me sweat more during movement, feel less stiff in my joints, and stay consistent without pushing my body too hard. For me, sweating also became a release, helping me feel lighter physically and mentally during some heavy seasons. I felt I was finally seeing results, I was!

As a nurse, I’m mindful about balance. Sauna gear isn’t a fix or a promise, it’s simply support. A way to help your body respond, move easier, and stay in rhythm.
